Evening Language Courses

Academic Year 2024/25

For the Academic Year 2024/25, we offer our programme of evening language courses for general purposes in Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese and Spanish.

The evening language classes will start in September 2024. Various languages and levels are available.

• The classes are open to UL students and UL staff members as well as members of the general public. 
• Each course consists of 40 hours class contact over 20 weeks running from the third week in September until April 2025. 
• Face-to-face / online classes are held from 18.00 to 20.00 on one evening per week (Tuesdays to Thursdays, depending on the language/level/mode of delivery). 
• All groups will be starting in the week of 23 September 2024 (Week 3 of UL Autumn semester).   
• These courses are designed for adult learners interested in learning a language or improving their existing foreign language skills.  
• We also offer tailor-made courses for private groups/organisations. Arrangements can be discussed with the course coordinator (see details below).

* Please note students' fee rate applies to the following categories: 
Refugees / Job Seekers / People living with a disability / OAP (65+).
