About Visual Arts
The Visual Arts Department at University of Limerick is charged with the care, custody, and placement of the art collections on the university campus and developing and implementing associated policies and procedures. It is also responsible for a programme of exhibitions/lectures in the Bourn Vincent Gallery.

The University of Limerick obtained Gallery Status from the Irish Revenue Commissioners on 31 January 2007.
