About this event

  • 1 hour
  • Mobile eTicket

This art history revision evening will be held on April 26th, 2023, at the University of Limerick (room details will be sent to attendees). The event will run from 5.30-6.30pm.

(Please note the changed start time to 5.30pm - this is to facilitate students who wish to join the Arts Careers Evening which begins at 6.30 on campus: https://www.ul.ie/artsoc/events/careers-evening-faculty-of-arts-humanities-and-social-sciences)

This event has been designed to provide students preparing for their Leaving Certificate art history exam with an opportunity to explore material from four of the core areas on the curriculum.

These areas include Unit 1: Early Irish Art, Unit 2: Romanesque and Gothic Art and Architecture, Unit 3: European Art During the Renaissance, and Unit 5: Modernism.

The event is free, and all are welcome. Teachers are more than welcome to attend if they would like to do so.

Information will also be available on the evening on a new online UL micro-cred module on art history for second level teachers (9 ECTS, 9 weeks from 2 October - 1 December 2023)
