Heritage Week 2024

Heritage Week 2024 was launched in Tipperary County Council's Clonmel Library on Saturday 17 August with a lecture by Dr Karol Mullaney-Dignam (History) on photography and cultural life in Victorian Clonmel. The lecture accompanied the exhibition at the Library of nineteenth-century photographs by the renowned Clonmel doctor and prize-winning early photographer, W.D. Hemphill of Oakville House. Cllr. Michael Murphy, Mayor of Clonmel, opened the event.
