Words Matter: Promoting Best Practice in Media and Cultural Representations of Gender-Based Violence

The Centre for Crime, Justice & Victim Studies invites you to:

‘Words Matter: Promoting Best Practice in Media and Cultural Representations of Gender-Based Violence’, a one-day conference which will be held at the University of Limerick on 25th of October 2024.

 This conference is organised by Dr Susan Leahy and includes the launch of ‘Words Matter: Guidance for Media Reporting on Sexual Violence in Ireland’, which has been created as part of a project conducted in partnership with the Sexual Violence Centre Cork, which was funded by the Irish Research Council New Foundations Scheme.
