The School of Law was thrilled to once again host the A & L Goodbody Moot Court Competition on Tuesday, April 1st 2025. At UL, we remain committed to building strong partnerships with employers to provide students with impactful experiential learning opportunities. We extend our sincere gratitude to A&L Goodbody and Dr. Stephen King for their invaluable contributions to this initiative. Dr. King, a distinguished alumnus of the Law School and Partner in ALG's Disputes & Investigations Group, graciously returned as a judge for the moot this year.
The evening's winners were Katelyn Moloney, Liam Kelly, Sadhbh Quinn and Sarah Cantillon. Their opponents in the Grand Final were Niamh Ahern, Andrew O’Connell and Jesse Smyth. It is always inspiring to see students from various years and courses engage in extracurricular activities that showcase critical legal skills. Jesse Smyth was also recognised as the best individual speaker of the night.
