All Ireland Network on Sexual Violence Research Conference

Dr Susan Leahy, Associate Professor at the School of Law, presented her research at the All Ireland Network on Sexual Violence Research (AINSVR) conference on 2 September 2024. Susan co-founded the AINSVR network with her colleague, Dr Eithne Dowds, Queen's University Belfast. The network was officially launched in January 2024 and facilitates collaboration between academic researchers and stakeholders who work in the area of sexual violence in Ireland and Northern Ireland. 

The conference on 2 September was the second in-person event for the network. The theme was 'Tackling Violence Against Girls Across the Island of Ireland'. Susan's presentation at the event was entitled 'Delivering Justice for Victims of Sexual Violence in Ireland: The Next Steps'.
