On 22 June 2022, Dr Lydia Bracken, School of Law, participated in a panel discussion on Rainbow Families that was hosted by Arthur Cox LLP as part of their Pride 2022 celebrations.

Dr Bracken spoke alongside two representatives from Equality for Children, Kelly Socol and Gearóid Kenny Moore, on the legal issues affecting LGBTQI+ parent families in securing legal recognition of their family relationships and the current proposals for reform contained in the Health (Assisted Human Reproduction) Bill 2022.

The event was organised by Alliance, which is Arthur Cox LLP’s internal LGBTQI+ network and was moderated by Orla Donovan, Senior Associate, Arthur Cox.
