The School of Law would like to highlight Alex Casey, a recent graduate of the LL.M. in International Commercial Law.
Alex received the Eversheds Sutherland Scholarship for academic achievement at undergraduate level, a prestigious prize offered to our top students. During the past year, Alex was involved with the European Law Students’ Association (ELSA) and the Plassey Law Review, our local legal journal. Alex also represented UL through the prestigious Chief Justice Summer Placement Programme in the Four Courts.
Alex has been working in the School of Law for the past few months teaching undergraduate tutorial classes and will continue to teach this semester, taking on the Counter Terrorism Law and International Business module taught to our postgraduates.
Alex plans to commence a training contract with A&L Goodbody and undertake PhD research in the future.
