Dr. Alan Cusack Attends ImpleMéndez Training School in Ljubljana, Slovenia

In July 2024, Dr. Alan Cusack from the School of Law at the University of Limerick, participated in ImpleMéndez: Training School 1: Implementing The Mendez Principles in Suspect Interviews. This represented the first training school to be delivered as part of a major international COST Action project (CA22128) which is aimed at elevating investigative interview techniques.

The Training School, not only offered an invaluable opportunity for participants to gain a grounding in the values, assumptions and exigencies of the Mendéz Principles, but it also framed this grounding in a discourse that is sensitive to psychological science and legal standards.

Dr. Alan Cusack is on the Management Committee for the COST Action. The Chair of the COST Action is Professor David Walsh (DeMontford University) and the Vice-Chair is Professor Yvonne Daly (DCU).
