Dr. Alan Cusack Delivers Address to the Law Society of Ireland September 2024

On 25 September 2024 Dr. Alan Cusack (University of Limerick), Professor Tom O’Malley (University of Galway), Mr. Justice Michael White (Parole Board) and Martin Lawlor (Coughlan Kelly Solicitors) contributed to a Criminal Law Seminar which was organised by the Criminal Law Committee of the Law Society of Ireland.

The seminar was designed to provide practitioners with an overview of recent and ongoing developments in criminal-law practice from a practical perspective. Dr. Cusack presented a paper entitled “Intermediaries in the Irish Criminal Justice System: A Special Measure Whose Time Has Come” which provided an outline of Ireland’s registered intermediary scheme.
