Dr. Alan Cusack Invited to Participate in Research Roundtable on Policing and Community Safety

Dr. Alan Cusack, along with Dr. Jane Mulcahy and Superintendent Andrew Lacey, contributed to a landmark roundtable event entitled ‘Research Roundtable on Policing and Community Safety’ which took place at the Aisling Hotel, Dublin 8 on 20 September 2024.

The event, which was entitled ‘Research Roundtable on Policing and Community Safety’ was funded by the Policing Authority as part of the Irish Research Council’s New Foundations award scheme. The Principal Investigators for this project are Professor Gautam Gulati (School of Law, University of Limerick) and Professor Colm Dunne (School of Medicine, University of Limerick).

Other participants at the event included representatives from An Garda Síochána, the Policing Authority, Pavee Point, MASI, HSE and AsIAM. A full report of the roundtable will be published shortly.
