Ger Coffey Appointed Treasurer, International Law Association - Irish Branch

The School of Law is delighted to announce that Dr Ger Coffey was elected to the position of Treasurer, Irish Branch of the International Law Association (ILA) at the recent annual general meeting.

Dr Coffey looks forward to working with ILA colleagues to enhance and promote the work of the Irish Branch, members serving on ILA Committees and welcoming new members with an interest in the objectives of the ILA namely "the study, clarification and development of international law, both public and private, and the furtherance of international understanding and respect for international law”.

Dr Coffey is a Lecturer in Law, member of the Centre for Crime, Justice and Victim Studies, and Course Director of the LLM/MA in Human Rights in Criminal Justice. He is also the Editor of the Irish Criminal Law Journal.
