UL Law School was delighted to once again host the Kate Fleming Memorial Mediation Competition on March 28th. This competition involves law and medical students working together in multi-disciplinary teams to settle a claim of medical negligence. Law students are assisted in preparing the case for mediation by the medical students, with the medical students also tasked with preparing an expert report on the case. UL is committed to nurturing disciplinary foundations and interdisciplinary exchange and this competition is an excellent opportunity for such exchange and collaboration.
