School of Law Welcomes Visit of Miss Justice Mary Ellen Ring

On Friday, 8 September 2023, the School of Law and the School of Allied Health at the University of Limerick hosted a special interactive seminar by Miss Justice Mary-Ellen Ring (High Court). The event marked the launch of the second delivery of the University of Limerick’s pioneering, inter-faculty Professional Diploma in Intermediary Studies.

Miss Justice Ring delivered a fascinating paper to students where she provided a first-hand insight into trial proceedings in Ireland and the role of registered intermediaries in court.  

The event was co-ordinated by Dr. Alan Cusack and Dr. Áine Kearns (School of Allied Health).
