Soccer Success for Law Student

The UL School of Law extends a warm congratulations to Eoin Redmond, 4th year LLB Law Plus and member of the victorious UL Men's Soccer team that brought home the Collingwood cup to Limerick.

After 50 years in the competition, and eight appearances in the finals, this team gave the University our first success. The whole season went extremely well, with the team playing three consecutive games with a clean sheet. This culminated in the fantastic final score of 5-0 against Trinity College Dublin at the end of last month.

Redmond in was a key part of the game, winning the team first possession and controlling the centre with Physical Education student and fellow midfielder Tom Kidd, in spite of this being their third match in three days.
