The Sports Law, Governance and Practice Research Cluster was delighted to host a seminar by Gareth Farrelly

Dr Laura Donnellan, the Director of The Sports Law, Governance and Practice Research Cluster was delighted to host a seminar by Gareth Farrelly, a former Aston Villa, Bolton Wanderers and Everton player with several caps for Ireland. Gareth is a Senior Associate with Bermans’ Solicitors and specialises in litigation and dispute resolution. Gareth was recently appointed to the Premier League Judicial Panel. In addition, he is a member of the Football Association’s Judicial Panel and sits on both the Chairman’s Panel and the Football Panel. Gareth’s talk examined Modern Governance in Modern Football'. The event was well attended by students, practitioners, and staff at the School of Law. The event was funded by the AHSS teaching fund.
