UL Researchers publish chapter in Police Custody in Ireland (2024, London: Routledge)

A chapter authored by a team of policing experts from the University of Limerick was recently published in a pioneering new collection, Police Custody in Ireland (London: Routledge), edited by Professor Yvonne Daly (DCU).

The chapter, which was authored by Dr Alan Cusack, Professor Gautam Gulati, Professor Colum Dunne and Professor Shane Kilcommins explores the policy and operational context for people with intellectual disabilities interfacing with police as accused persons in Ireland.
