Language Tasters as part of the Limerick Lifelong Learning Festival

The staff of the Language Outreach programme offered Language Tasters throughout the week during the Limerick Lifelong Learning Festival. People interested in learning a new language and discovering a new culture joined in online sessions held from Monday 7 to Thursday 10 of April. Introductory sessions in Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese and Spanish were offered to participants. The sessions proved popular. Many thanks to all the tutors, some of them AHSS postgraduate students, for sharing their language and culture with members of the general public (Roumaissa Bougherara, Hadjer Hammadi, Xiaxia Wang, Adèle Guillaume, Constanze Parzich, Patrizia Piccolo, Sachiyo Hurley and Angel Catala Sempere) and to Catherine Jeanneau and Dominique Le Meur for coordinating the event.
