Philipp Nußbaum, a research associate and project manager at HISInstitut für Hochschulentwicklung e.V (Institute for Higher Education Development) in Hanover, Germany, will be delivering a guest lecture on Sustainability Reporting at German Universities, chaired by Andrea Deverell and organised by UL's Centre for Irish-German Studies.
The Institute for Higher Education Development operates a research-based independent competence centre for consulting on issues of higher education development and the organisation of research and teaching, and provides services for the ministries of the German federal states, universities and non-university research and educational institutions.
Philipp works on topics including sustainable development, climate protection and energy efficiency. In this context, he has looked at the status of sustainability reporting at German universities with a particular focus on how sustainable development is currently measured.
