Conference presentation at the 56th NeMLA convention in Philadelphia (for the quarterly newsletter)

Dr. Anita Barmettler presented a paper at the 56th NeMLA convention in Philadelphia, USA, which brought together academics from the United States and around the world. Her paper focused on the non-binary author Kim de l'Horizon and their award-winning book, Blutbuch. She examined how de l'Horizon used Switzerland's multilingual background to articulate their search for identity and navigate complex family relationships. This presentation was part of the panel titled "Swiss Studies as a Multilingual Literary Venture" and was made possible through a successful application to the AHSS conference funding call.
