SEIC alumna Dr Paula McGrath has recently been appointed Acting Head of Creative Writing at UCD.

UCD: Dr. McGrath holds a BA in Single Honour English Language and Literature from Trinity College Dublin, an MA and MFA from University College Dublin, and a PhD from the University of Limerick, where she was a Government of Ireland Postgraduate Fellow.

Her doctoral thesis, “Narrative Strategies for the Representation of Trauma in Fiction: Theory and Practice”, was supervised by Prof. Joseph O’Connor and Dr Tina O’Toole, and accepted without corrections.
