Today the Bernal Institute launched its 2020 Report. The report describes how the institute’s work in structural material advances will provide solutions to global grand challenges and UN sustainable development goals in Health, Energy and the Environment.
The Institute Director, Luuk van der Wielen said “ The young Bernal Institute since its launch in 2016 has been on a very positive trajectory in terms of talent development, reflected in the academic outputs as well as industry and societal impact, strategically responding to the Grand Challenges in Health, Energy and the Environment. I’m very thankful and proud of the Bernal team and community who have and continue to deliver on this strategy as described in our 2020 report, especially in these exceptional times.”
