JEC World 2022 will feature a new area dedicated to education and training, the JEC Composites Campus, in Hall 5 which aims to attract young students and anyone interested in expanding their expertise. Dr. Gearóid Clancy, Bernal institute will speak on Thursday afternoon (May 5th) to promote research, education and training opportunities at the University of Limerick.
Demand for young and well-trained engineers is high among composite material and composites parts manufacturers. To meet this demand, JEC World is teaming up with 8 partner universities and training institutes, presenting initial and continuous trainings in various countries.
The JEC World is an annual conference that takes place in Paris, France, with this year’s exhibition taking place from the 3rd to the 5th of May. JEC World is the largest global composites exhibition, previously bringing over 1300 exhibitors and 44,000 visitors from 112 countries together for the three-day event in 2019. Considered a “festive of composites”, the JEC World offers individuals and businesses the opportunity to network, attend live demonstrations and innovation planets. JEC World also aims to act as a source of inspiration for participants, highlighting what composites can offer in a number of different sectors, from aerospace to construction.
