Announcement: Interreg Europe PROACTsme Event at Kemmy Business School
Tuesday 26th November 2024, 9:00 am - 12:45 pm, Room: KB1-10
We are excited to announce that the Centre for Emerging Risk Studies (CERS) will host a key event on November 26th, 2024, as part of the PROACTsme project.
The PROACTsme project (Applied Data-Science and AI for Proactive SME Services) is an Interreg Europe-funded initiative to leverage AI and data analytics to enhance public services for SMEs across Europe. With contributions from the participating regions of Catalonia (Spain), Central Macedonia (Greece), Mazovia (Poland), Møre og Romsdal (Norway), and Lithuania, the project focuses on creating proactive, personalised services and supporting SME policy development.
These regions are exploring initiatives to strengthen government support for SMEs, such as early warning systems for SMEs, digital maturity assessments, and employment sector data analytics.
At this Joint Study Event, CERS will present the latest findings on the role of AI in proactively improving services for SMEs. The event will feature discussions on critical topics such as:
How the public sector can integrate AI technologies to better support SMEs
Organisational Aspects of Public Bodies
Participating regions, policy makers and SMEs working towards the same goals
Data Governance and Ethics
Key European governance and ethical considerations for SME service providers
Public Value
Positive impact on SMEs from the PROACTsme project
The Limerick Enterprise Office will also be joining us to present their service offerings to SMEs in Limerick. This event is an exciting opportunity to collaborate, share insights, and advance innovative approaches to improving SME services. We look forward to welcoming you as we work together to shape the future of SME support in Europe!
