Conor Dooley is Managing Director of Comprend Associates, a specialist consultancy that helps organisations achieve sustainable growth. Comprend also supports organisations in strategic planning and governance. With a special focus on the energy transition, Conor works with managers and how they need to think about, and prepare for, the sustainability challenges that are imminent.
Prior to Comprend, Conor managed Irish and UK subsidiaries of multinational companies in the energy, engineering and technology sectors. He has decades of executive experience in monitoring company strategy, performance and risk, M&A due diligence, and financial planning and budgeting.
Conor holds an engineering degree from Trinity College Dublin and an MBA from the University of Limerick. He also has qualifications in governance from the Institute of Directors and sustainability from the University of Cambridge. In his career, he has acted on company boards in Ireland and the UK, has board experience in the both the private and non-profit sectors.
