Caoimhe Rose holds a Bachelor of Engineering from University College Dublin and an MA in Business Management from University of Limerick, with a speciality in economics. Subsequently she has obtained Business Continuity Institute, Institute of Bankers and Global Association of Risk Professionals certifications. 

 Caoimhe has worked in the financial services industry for over 12 years, holding many roles covering different governance positions across Risk and Compliance. She began her career with Dubco Credit Union as a Compliance Officer. She then moved to the domestic retail banking sector. She held positions with Allied Irish Bank and PTSB where she was responsible for implementing Compliance and Risk frameworks, regulatory engagement relationship management and participated in governing committees. During her time with PTSB, Caoimhe was Secretary of the Group Risk Committee.  

 In her current role, Caoimhe has spent almost 6 years with Elavon Financial Services. As Operational Risk Manager, she is responsible for a number of programmes including Operational Risk Appetite, Risk Issues and Risk and Control Self-Assessments. She has participated in risk management projects across Risk Management & Compliance in Europe and the USA, lead automation projects in support of continuous improvement of Risk Issues and Risk Appetite and established enhanced UK governance arrangements, resulting from Brexit, including the establishment of UK Risk and Audit Committee and holding Committee Secretary role.
