June Arnold holds BA in European Studies and an MA in European Integration form the University of Limerick. She has over 25-year expertise gained in global affairs, international trade, and agricultural food systems.
After graduation June began her career in the European Commission gaining experience working in different European organisations, representing the soft drinks industry, cereal trading and first processing sectors with responsibilities for many key food and feed safety and trade related issues. Through portfolios she has amassed in-depth sectoral experience along the entire food and feed value chain from agricultural production to end use. Her knowledge of European affairs is extensive, and she has built partnerships and relationships across the globe in agribusiness, government, NGOs, and international bodies.
June is currently Global Head of Policy with the International Grain and Feed Trade Association (Gafta), an organisation which promotes international trade in agricultural commodities. June’s track record in international diplomacy has been central to this role and she has represented agribusiness in highly political and multicultural environments.
