As part of UL’s Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD) events, UL was delighted to collaborate with Vision Ireland to explore the latest text-to-speech technology. This interactive event highlighted available options for work, education and daily life. A wide variety of tools were demonstrated, from software to read documents and webpages aloud to video magnifiers and Braille devices. Attendees saw how these tools can boost productivity, support inclusivity and transform the lives of people who find reading challenging.
