Head of School of Medicine Professor Colum Dunne appointed Honorary Professor at Queen’s University Belfast (QUB)

This appointment reflects Professor Dunne’s internationally recognised research, focused on hospital acquired infection completed with colleagues in the QUB School of Pharmacy in an ongoing collaboration with clinical microbiology and surveillance scientists at University Hospital Limerick. This work will form the basis of an All-Ireland platform for medical microbiology innovations.
