Portiuncula University Hospital awards

On Friday 15^th December, Portiuncula University Hospital held a clinical audit day during the weekly Grand Rounds session. 4th year student, Eithne Hudson won first place for her presentation of the audit she completed while on placement: “An Audit of End-of-Life-Care in PUH, using the national Audit of Care at the End of life Case Note Review”

Former UL students from BMBS 2022, Dr Oluwadamilola Omotosho and Dr Ben O’Riordan won third place with their presentation on their joint audit “An Audit Exploring the Prescribing of SGLT-2 inhibitors to Non-Diabetic CKD Patients in Portiuncula University Hospital, Ballinasloe”.
