I completed my degree in Sport and Exercise Sciences in 2009 and began a career in strength and conditioning. Initially, while working in club rugby, I gained valuable experience volunteering within the Munster Rugby underage structures. I returned to education to complete my MSc in Sports Performance in 2012 and shortly after graduating I took up a full-time role in Rugby Canada. I spent two seasons working with both the Men’s 15’s and 7’s programmes where I was S&C on their Sevens World Cup campaign in 2013 and the Commonwealth Games in 2014. After my second season, I returned home to Ireland to take up a rehabilitation role with the Sports Surgery Clinic musculoskeletal team in Dublin from 2015-2017. Currently, I work with Swim Ireland as the strength and conditioning coach to the National Centre of Limerick Performance Pathway squad while managing my role as a Ph.D. researcher
