This summer the School of Medicine, University of Limerick held a significant event “ENGAGE 2023”. It included a combination of keynote (Dr Brendan O'Mahony, Dr John Taggart and Sally Kedge) and lightning talks, poster presentations and an interactive workshop.
We can proudly say that the event was attended by 120 people. ENGAGE 2023 provided a unique opportunity for different stakeholders to come together and to share views on how the role of the Intermediary can be developed in the Irish context. To get the most out of the day, attendees had time to meet one another, and to discuss priority actions that they believe are essential in order to continue to support the development of the role of the Intermediary. We believe that the priorities we have generated from that day can provide important guidance for policy makers, researchers, and practitioners going forward.
