Athena Swan Award

We are now one of only five departments across the university to have been awarded the Athena Swan Bronze award. To be awarded this is a great achievement and to get it on our first attempt is a rare occurrence but testament to the hard work the Athena Swan team put into our submission. Achieving this award was one of our key strategic goals that we aimed for over two years ago and it is great that we have achieved it.
