Next week is Limerick Pride week which will run from the 5th - 11th July, and we are holding some virtual Pride Events to celebrate this over zoom. We would really appreciate it if you could join our lunchtime events. It is imperative that we show support for our fellow colleagues and students in the LGBTQI+ Community.
In the Tuesday event we have representatives from GOSHH that will discuss a range of topics including the History of Limerick Pride, the new roles within GOSHH, and the importance of creating safe inclusive spaces for LGBT+ members. On Wednesday we are hosting a Transgender Awareness Training, where our host Rachael will discuss her journey of transitioning within the context of the workplace. The zoom links are attached in this email.
Limerick Pride and GOSHH LGBTI+ services will also be hosting a free Rainbow Walk as part of this year's Pride celebrations! Join them at 10am on Sunday, July 11th outside Jack Monday's Coffee House (Limerick City) for a friendly socially distanced walk.
