Implementing the European Works Council Directive; patterns and practices
The European Works Council Directive was passed in 1994 and recast in 2009. Today, thousands of thousands of employee representatives are members of the European Works Council representing employees in more than one thousand companies. Paul's research is focusing on patterns and practices in the implementation of the EWC directive, with a particular focus on the strategy of employees representatives and trade unions.
