On October 31st, 2024, 3 UL Environmental Society students along with UL’s new Student Sustainability Co-Ordinator, Elisa Minoue, traveled to Technological University Dublin that hosted a national student summit on climate change in Higher Education Ireland. The day long summit took place at TU Dublin's Grangegorman campus, welcomed student representatives from all Irish Higher Education Institutions to attend.
“It was a thoroughly enjoyable event, which included guest speakers, discussion boards, group activities and more, as we discussed many of the key issues we face because of Climate Change and searched for ideas as to how we as students can help in the fight against it!” -Environmental Society student attendees.
