The Department of Nursing and Midwifery has a protocol in place for those wishing to access undergraduate and postgraduate students for research. This is to ensure that access to our students is managed in a fair and consistent manner and that they are not oversaturated by requests to participate in research. The protocol applies to all UL researchers and external researchers who wish to engage with students for research (e.g. surveys, focus groups, qualitative and quantitative research). Requests for access to students are reviewed by a sub-committee of the Research Committee.
