Support UL's Muddasar Muhammad in the Irish Universities Association (IUA) 3-Minute Thesis National Final!

On November 15, the Irish Universities Association (IUA) is hosting the second final of the National 3-Minute Thesis (3MT) competition at the Royal Irish Academy, Dawson Street, Dublin 2. 

Eight PhD competitors, one from each IUA university, will have three minutes to tell us about their research, using only one slide. 

UL will be represented by the winner of our 3MT final during Research Week 2024, Muddasar Muhammad, who will speak about 'Harnessing the Power of Leftover Lignin for Waste Heat Harvesting'. 

Muddasar followed up his victory in the UL 3MT Final by winning the Editor's Choice Award at the Vitae UK & Ireland 3-Minute Thesis Final recently. 

The IUA 3MT National Final  promises to be a very exciting event with cash prizes for the winners and an opportunity for the audience to vote for their favourite presentation.
