This workshop forms part of the DocTalent4EU series, which is dedicated to advancing PhD career development through local Talent Management Centres (TMCs). 

The workshop is due to be a 90-minute interactive session which will provide higher education professionals with the insights and tools needed to implement TMCs within their own institutions.

Talent Management Centres (TMCs) have been piloted by the DocTalent4EU consortium to support the career development of PhD candidates. By offering tailored services and aligning with institutional and national strategic goals, TMCs can unlock new opportunities for postgraduate researchers and ensure sustainability by mobilising existing resources.

This workshop is an opportunity for people outside the Doc Talent4EU consortium to:


Learn about TMCs and why they are crucial for higher education institutions.

Explore Case Studies from universities (specifically, UL and HVL, Bergen) that have implemented TMCs.

- Identify challenges and opportunities for setting up a TMC.
