The MaMLiSE Erasmus+ project, to which Associate Professor Mary Masterson from the School of Education has been contributing over the past three years, has been honoured with the prestigious European Language Label Award 2024.
This award celebrates innovative projects that promote creativity, community engagement, and innovative approaches for multilingual education. From 2020 to 2023, the MaMLiSE team has been transforming schools into inclusive spaces where every student can succeed, regardless of their language background.
Best practice in inclusive education was developed to assist teachers in managing linguistically diverse classrooms and to help parents foster multilingualism at home. The team, made up of partners from eight educational institutions across Europe, forms a home-school-university partnership dedicated to supporting the SDGs' goals for quality education.
