The Globe opened it’s doors in September 2024 and is a welcoming student support and engagement hub, designed to bring together individual from all corners of the globe.
The Globe is a hub of activity, designed to bring together individuals from all corners of the globe. It serves as a central point for international and domestic students, faculty, and staff to connect, collaborate, and engage in a variety of activities that enhance their global experience at the University of Limerick. It is a vibrant, inclusive space dedicated to fostering global engagement and internationalisation for all, where cross-cultural interactions and global perspectives are celebrated, promoting a deeper understanding and appreciation of the diverse world we live in.

Starting your journey at the University of Limerick is an exciting time, and our orientation program is designed to make your transition as smooth as possible. During orientation, you will receive important information about academic resources, campus facilities, and student supports. You’ll also have the chance to meet fellow students, join campus tours, and participate in a range of fun, ice-breaking activities.
