11am-12.30pm: Exchange Welcome: Coffee and Chats

Welcome to the University of Limerick! Your first opportunity to meet the Exchange team for a morning coffee.

12.30pm-3pm: Parkway Shopping Centre Trip

First bus departing for Parkway at 12.30pm and running until 1pm

Last bus departs Parkway for UL at 2.45pm

4.30pm-6pm: Speedfriending

Make a new friend in 10 minutes at our Friendfest Challenge: Gel at UL!

11.15am-1pm: Campus Tour

Check out your new campus! A great way to get to know UL!

Location: Jean Monnet Theatre 

2pm-3.30pm: Exchange Academic Information

Academic Essentials: Lectures, Labs, Notetaking, Modules. Timetables and Supports.

Location: University Concert Hall

This is a mandatory session.

5pm: Trad Night

Enjoy traditional Irish Music and Dance with a live band and dancers. Refreshments provided.

Location: The Stables Club

8am-9am: Campus Run 

Run with the UL Global team and your new friends around our beautiful campus.

Location: Brown Thomas Statue

9.30am-10am: Immigration Information for non-EU students

An opportunity for any non-EU students with visa or immigration queries to speak to an expert

10am-11am: Semester Essentials

Student ID Cards, Email, Wifi and UL Systems

1pm-3pm: Go Gaelic - GAA Taster Session

Play some Gaelic Football - no skills or experience required. The session is split into two 1hr sessions.

4pm: Celtic Steps

10am-3pm: Discover Limerick: Milk Market and the City Centre

Shuttle service departs UL at 10am, 10.15am, 10.30am, 10.45am and 11am

Return to UL at 2.30pm, 2.45pm, 3pm, 3.15pm and 3.30pm

7.45am: Bus Tour to the Aran Islands

Come and discover the beautiful Aran Islands.
Spend over 5 hours on Inis Oir, the closest Aran Island to the mainland. Located at the mouth of Galway City.
