This week, we meet Serena Kabenge from Uganda, who is studying Electronic and Computer Engineering. Referencing UL’s nickname “the home of firsts”, Serena discusses how UL’s innovative environment encourages students to think outside the box.
For Serena, moving to Ireland to pursue her studies was a huge decision. However, she reflects on how her experience has helped her to grow as a person.
One of Serena’s favourite things about studying at UL is the sense of community here in Limerick. She describes how she feels safe and welcome here in Limerick.
