It goes without saying that COVID-19 has brought about a great deal of uncertainty. Our staff continue to work remotely to support our students as we adapt to a new way of work and study. The UL Critical Operations Team and Executive Committee have been working towards reopening the UL campus for the Autumn Semester 2020, commencing September 28th 2020. Here at the International Education Division, we are still accepting applications for full-time postgraduate and undergraduate programmes.
Before the University campus closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we had a chat with our International Student Ambassador, Sinenhlanla SE. Bengu, about why she chose to come study at the University of Limerick.
Sinenhlanla is from South Africa and is studying UL's MA in Peace and Development Studies. For her, UL’s location on the outskirts of Limerick city strikes a perfect balance between the convenience of city life, while still maintaining “beautiful scenery” and offering a quiet place to study.
Sinenhlanla enjoys the diversity of her programme and is wowed by the level of knowledge and enthusiasm of faculty members.
