Course Overview

Are you a researcher looking to develop your leadership skills? Have you more than 3 years post PhD experience? Then the Aspiring Research Leaders Programme could be the programme for you.

With a mixture of face to face and online delivery, this programme is delivered in short sessions over a 9-week period. Strengthened with Action Learning Sets to maximise peer learning, participants are supported through the programme to identify the actions they need to take in order to start becoming an Independent Researcher.

Course Objectives/Outcomes

The Aspiring Research Leaders Programme has been designed to help you to develop the competencies you need to further your research career. This programme will enhance your skills to lead others, build relationships and improve your collaboration skills. It will help you to understand funding opportunities, and finances. This programme offers you all the tools you need to take the next step in your research career.

Trainee Requirements

Attendees must have more than 3 years post PhD experience. Participants must be available to attend all the sessions
