Course Details
Course Overview
It has been a bit of a roller coaster since the pandemic started. We have all adapted to remote working as best we can given the environment. As we move towards a wider scale return to campus it would be easy to think of a ‘return to normal’ however as we have learned quickly there are very few things certain in life. While each Department/Division is planning for a return to campus, and the wider scale return of students, we need to prepare ourselves for the many ‘unknowns’ and changes that have yet to evolve.
This workshop has been specially designed to support you through this phase of change
The facilitator will share current research, their insights based on working with other organisations who have already moved on from mainly remote work and some insights into what to expect and what helps as we navigate this journey.
Course Objectives/Outcomes
In addition, you will get the opportunity to:
1. Reflect on the journey you’ve been on,
2. Identify the things we’ve all learned and want to continue on with and those things we need to leave behind
4. Prepare yourself for the next stage in the journey.
5. Understand the ‘pandemic hangover,’ our own emotional ambivalence, learn how to embrace it and build resilience, and know where to get help if you need it.
6. Identify some of the potential pitfalls as we start to re-engage with colleagues in a hybrid environment and be better prepared for these challenges
