My pension is co-ordinated with the State Pension (PRSI Class A). I am retiring at age 60 but the State Pension is not paid until age 66.

A supplementary pension can be paid by the University if you do not qualify immediately for any Social Welfare benefits. This will need to be confirmed by the Social Welfare Services. This will cease or reduce as appropriate when any State Pension or other benefits come into payment.
