What was the Project About?
The provision of the Advanced Marketplace platform integrates with our current Agresso\Unit4 solution, where a number of contracted suppliers are onboarded onto the Marketplace solution. Advanced Marketplace is a shopping cart styled solution, similar to that of Amazon, which gives our staff the opportunity to purchase high volume, low value goods, in a simpler and seamless manner. What does this mean for you?
Prior to the implementation, it was difficult to manually check contracted pricing catalogues, the Marketplace solution now makes it easier from a user experience to buy from certain contracted suppliers. The solution also assists with ensuring procurement compliance, while also driving efficiencies, reducing on the administrative overhead of processing quotes, purchase orders and invoices for items.
Status
This project went live in August 2023, we are currently in the planning of onboarding Dell as a supplier, and we hope to close the project in March 2024.
