A new Staff Learning Management System (LMS) is required to meet the development needs of staff at University of Limerick.
A Staff Learning Management System (LMS) is a software application for the administration, documentation, tracking, reporting, automation, and delivery of learning and development programs.
The project will focus on selecting and deploying a Staff LMS for UL and will be delivered with a successful third-party vendor by HR in collaboration with the Information Technology Division (ITD)
What does it mean for the UL community?
Once implemented, the new Staff Learning Management System will benefit all employees and provide a ‘one-stop-shop’ for employees training needs, with the following key benefits:
- Enable more efficient and accurate tracking of mandatory training and policy reviews.
- Provide a more efficient process for organising training.
- Improved reporting capabilities for managers.
- More efficient use of learning and development staff.
- Increased attendance at planned training sessions.
